Tie Fighter - Not memorabilia and yes it can fly!

I know, I know it's not a droid. But one can't help but share something that looks like so much fun.

The video that started it all.....


After seeing this video I had to build one. It really didn't take long to build. Unfortunately there are no blue prints available at this time. If you contact the owner of the YouTube video he can give you the measurements.



The materials are easy to get and very inexpensive. The whole thing really only was a few days worth of work. The slideshow pretty much shows you the steps I went through to build it.
